Washington DC Parade
MAY 26 - 30, 2017
The Bellevue High Band and Choir have been selected to perform at the Washington DC Memorial Day Parade, as well as a concert. Students will visit historic sights and attend concerts performed by members of our armed services.
COMMITMENT
This is a big trip for the band and choir, both in distance away from home and it being a high profile event. This will take strong commitment from the families and our community. The Band and Choir Booster groups are planning to work hard to opportunities for students to raise funds, and provide scholarships as funds allow.
EVENT INFORMATION
The National Memorial Day Parade, held annually along Constitution Avenue. The parade, commemorating its twelfth year, is the nation’s largest Memorial Day event, drawing hundreds of thousands of spectators to the National Mall to pay tribute to those who have served, are serving, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while in service to our country.
