Welcome to the Band
Are you registered for Concert Band at Bellevue High School? Everything on this page is information necessary for starting your band career in high school. Starting off this summer, we will be learning Marching Band music so we can get a head start before school begins.
Band Rehearsals before the school year starts is important to making sure we are ready for Marching season. We will continue practice into the school year, so don't worry if you can't make it to our summer rehearsals.
This is also a great time to meet fellow peers, meet veteran students, and make new friends. Band is more than playing music; it's about creating new experiences with people who have the same appreciation for music as you do.
Do you plan on missing rehearsal? Contact us to let the Directors know you won't make it. We will have a make-up rehearsal for anyone that missed rehearsals to have their uniforms fitted on August 23rd from 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM.*

Summer Letter
Welcome to the BHS Band program! If you are registered for band class at BHS, then you are part of our exciting Band program, which includes marching band (football games & parades), pep band (basketball games & pep assemblies), and Concert Band/Symphonic Band/Wind Ensemble/Percussion Ensemble (concerts & festivals throughout the year). Jazz Band auditions happen after school begins.

Monday
August 13th
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Rehearsal for All New Band Students (you) and our Student Leaders. Meet in the Bellevue High Band Room, wear athletic shows, and bring your instrument. Uniforms will be sized and checked out.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Drumline rehearsal for All Percussionists (incoming Percussion students will stay after the All New Band Student rehearsal).

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Social event at Downtown Bellevue Park for All Band Students (you).
Tuesday
August 14th
1:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Rehearsal for All New Band Students (you) and All Percussionists. Meet in the Bellevue High Band Room, wear athletic shows, and bring your instrument. Uniforms will be sized and checked out.

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
All Band Students (you) are invited for dinner, provided by the Bellevue High Band Boosters.

5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Rehearsal for All Band Students (you). Uniforms will be sized and checked out.

9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
