Vince Caruso & his son MilesVince Caruso, Director

Vince Caruso teaches Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, Marching/Pep Band and Jazz Ensemble 1 at Bellevue High School .  He also teaches band at Chinook Middle Scho ol.   He has been teaching in the Bellevue School District since 1998. The first three years in the district were spent at Chinook Middle Schoo l. He came to BHS in the fall of 2001.

Mr. Caruso graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1995 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. In 2006 he earned his National Board Certification. From 1995-1998, he taught middle school band in the Manitou Springs and Harrison School Districts located in Colorado Springs , Colorado . In addition to teaching band, Mr. Caruso has also performed on trombone with local professional and amateur ensembles including MOJO Big Band, Cambalache Salsa, the Washington Wind Symphony, the Jazz Police, and the Renton City Concert Band.  He has done trombone/low brass coaching with the Cascade Youth Symphony, Bellevue Youth Symphony, and the Marrowstone in the City music camp.

Outside of his musical endeavors Mr. Caruso spends time with his wife Marcy, son Miles and dog Basie. He is also an avid college and pro football fan. He enjoys playing NCAA Football on his Playstation2, much to the dismay of his wife.
