Bellevue
High Band Boosters are a non-profit 501C-3 organization dedicated to supporting the Bellevue High band program. Members are all parents or legal guardians of students enrolled in the band program at
Bellevue
High School
. If your child is in a band class, you are a member and therefore are welcome to all Booster board meetings and eligible to vote. You are also welcome to volunteer to help in the Band program.
The mission of the Bellevue High School (BHS) Instrumental Band Boosters is to provide student members of the BHS Band Program with Opportunities to perform, compete, improve their skills as musicians, and expand their appreciation of music.
Fundraising
In support of this mission, the BHS Instrumental Band Boosters raises funds to provide for band needs that exceed the school budget, volunteer their time and talents to the BHS Band Program and safeguard the assets and well being of the organization.
Specific uses of funds raise may include, but not be limited to:
- Purchase of band instruments
- Purchase of band uniforms
- Transportation to band festivals and competitions
- Sheet music and stereo equipment
- Guest performances and workshops
- Financial aid for band students
