Meeting Minutes – 01/18 /0 7

Next Meeting: January 13, 2007 at 7:00 pm in the band room

In Attendance: Vince Caruso, Randy Martin, Sheilah Varon, Iris Winstanley, Leslie Bigos

Discussed Bellevue Jazz Festival. Mailings to school will go out next week after printing is done. 200-300 schools are invited to attend the festival. Iris Winstanley to make arrangements at the Paragon Inn for the judges.
Due to weather related school closures, Band members are now only required to attend 3 basketball games.
Disney payments are due in two weeks. The audition tape was not of high quality due to the power outage. Vince Caruso has written Disney that he can re-tape at the March concert, if required.
The school board should make a decision by the end of the month regarding snow days.
The Viking jazz festival now falls on a "finals" day. Jazz II will not attend the festival unless teachers allow the students to make up their finals on an alternate day.
