Your donation may be tax deductible. For your benefit and as required by law, we state that the Bellevue High Band Boosters did not provide any goods or services in consideration, in whole or in part, for this contribution. Boosters’ fundraising efforts support the entire band program, providing new instruments, guest clinicians, and other outstanding educational experiences that would not otherwise be possible. Besides the Jazz festival, we sell seat cushions and we have a holiday greenery sale with proceeds either going to the Boosters or to individual students if it is a year in which the band is taking a trip.

The Band Boosters support the program and our Nationally-Accredited teacher, Edd George, in many ways:
  • Purchasing new instruments
  • Pay for costs of entry fees and transportation to festivals & competitions
  • Hiring guest clinicians & performers
  • Hosting a summer barbecue and the homecoming pizza feed
  • Coordinating the ordering of uniforms
  • Maintaining the band web-site
  • Chaperoning the band when it travels to away games
  • Providing water and snacks at football games
  • Providing concert greeters
  • Organizing & staffing the annual Bellevue High School Jazz Festival.

Purchase a Music Matters License Plate

If you've been considering one of the brand-new "Music Matters" specialty license plates, you now can help the band, choir and orchestra programs at Bellevue High School with your purchase. The music programs will receive $16.80 annually for each license that designates the Bellevue High music programs as the recipient; the programs' directors will jointly decide what to purchase with the funds. To purchase a specialty license, follow the instructions on the Washington State Department of Licensing Music Matters plates site. When you receive the vehicle registration, make a copy. On the copy write "Bellevue High School, Bellevue," your e-mail address and send to the Washington Music Educators Association (which administers funds received from the state) at 19707 64th Ave W, Suite 101, Lynnwood WA 98036. Answers to questions about the plates can be found on the Music Matters site.
