Hello Bellevue Band students and families,

It was great to meet many students at our rehearsals last week. I appreciate the flexibility everyone displayed with having to go to Chinook, practicing outside in the wind, and moving equipment. WE WILL BE BACK AT BELLEVUE HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE REMAINING REHEARSALS! Yes, the evening rehearsals from 6-8 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Aug 23-25) will be in the Bellevue HS Band Room. Here are a few announcements and reminders for this coming week:

• Students should bring their flip folders, music and lyres to rehearsals
• If you have not filled out the registration form please do so. It is not only for uniform sizes, but email contact info as well.
• Bowling! We have lanes reserved this Wednesday night. Come see if you can beat Mr. George! More information here.
• If you have not done so, please bring a check for the band uniforms. $60, made out to Bellevue Band Boosters. As always, if there are financial hardships please let Mr. George know.
• NEW ANNOUNCEMENT: Drummers - please plan to stay until 8:30 on Tuesday so we can practice some of our drum cadences/drum grooves
• NEW ANNOUNCEMENT: The bus for the game on September 4th at Qwest field will leave school at 4:30. We will need some parents to help chaperone. Please email me if you are interested in coming.
• NEW ANNOUNCEMENT: Students need to wear all black shoes with the marching band uniforms (the same as in past years) Please make sure you have these before September 4th.
