Welcome to the website of the Bellevue High School Band program, home of the Wolverines! This site is intended to be a communication tool for
band
students and parents. Check back regularly throughout the year for information regarding the BHS bands. Here are some important items for you to note during the strike:
- The BHS band will not be doing any rehearsals or pep/marching band performances during the strike.
- At this time, I believe Percussion Ensemble has been moved to 1st period (from 4th) due to issues with the "master schedule" at BHS. Before this whole strike thing came down, I was told that there were 2 students with potential schedule issues. I am hopeful those will be resolved once school starts and every percussionist will be able to schedule the class.
- Any instruments that were left in the band room after the final marching band rehearsal on 8/26 are safely locked in the instrument storage room.
- Assuming the strike is over in time....the Annual Band Parent Information Meeting will be Wednesday, September 17th at 7:30pm in the BHS band room. Come get all the important information (including details for the spring trip to California) from Mr. Caruso that there won't be time for at open house!
- I am very much looking forward to seeing everyone soon and getting on with the business of making music!
See you all soon,
Vince Caruso
