Take The Next Step… The Wolverine Way!

London New Year’s Day 2017 Parade

The Bellevue High marching band, along with Cheer and Drill, received an exclusive invitation to participate in the 31st New Year’s Day Parade in London, England on January 1, 2017!

The exclusive invitation came from Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for Greater London representing The Palace and The Right Worshipful The Lord Mayor of the City of Westminster, who hosts the event.  This spectacular parade has a high profile in the city of London and brings excited spectators from around the world!

This is an incredible opportunity to take this next step for the Bellevue High band program, to perform on an international platform, work toward a common goal together, and gain educational experiences that may be once-in-a-lifetime!

The Bellevue High marching band would be honored to represent our school, community, and state at the London New Year’s Day 2017 parade.

With a chill in the air, the third edition of our Wolverine soccer-style scarves arrived and and sold    out quickly.  Sorry if you missed the opportunity to purchase one. The good news is that we still  have the 2nd Edition scarves for sale for $20.00. You can pick up yours from Edd George in the band  room or purchase at current sport events. The 7 by 53-inch blue, gold and white fringed scarves  show "Wolverines" on one side and "Bellevue" on the reverse. They are perfect holiday, birthday or  graduation gifts, or for rooting for the Wolverines at spring Sports even when it doesn’t feel like    spring yet! Proceeds benefit all bands at Bellevue High School and will also support our current  marching band uniform fundraiser.

Show everyone else how much music matters to you and buy a "Music Matters" specialty license plate!

Music Matters
If you've been considering one of the brand-new "Music Matters" specialty license plates, you now can help the band, choir and orchestra programs at Bellevue High School with your purchase. The music programs will receive $16.80 annually for each license that designates the Bellevue High music programs as the recipient; the programs' directors will jointly decide what to purchase with the funds. To purchase a specialty license, follow the instructions on the Washington State Department of Licensing Music Matters plates site. When you receive the vehicle registration, make a copy. On the copy write "Bellevue High School, Bellevue," your e-mail address and send to the Washington Music Educators Association (which administers funds received from the state) at 19707 64th Ave W, Suite 101, Lynnwood WA 98036. Answers to questions about the plates can be found on the Music Matters site.
